Trend Signal Index.

A dated count of what TrendsAGI has published, how much of the archive carries a complete measurement, and the observed velocity range. Every figure is computed from the same public archive the briefings render from.

Quotable findings

Complete sentences, with the date attached.

Each sentence is self-contained so it can be quoted without changing its meaning. Keep the snapshot date and the archive link beside any figure you reuse.

Method and sample

What is counted, and what is not.

Included

  • Dated trend briefings published in the public blog archive.
  • Each briefing's category, grouped by a normalised category slug.
  • Velocity measurements with a positive rate, measurement timestamp, a 5-minute to 6-hour window, at least two observations, and a named provider.
  • Briefings published in the last 30 days, relative to the snapshot time.

Excluded

  • File-backed explainer articles and policy pages, which are not trend briefings.
  • Changelog entries, which describe the product rather than a trend.
  • Legacy velocity scores without complete measurement provenance.
  • Any claim about unique people, reach, engagement, purchase intent, or future demand.

Count

Every eligible briefing counts once, even when it is updated later.

Percentiles

Median, 25th and 75th percentiles use the measured rate in source posts per hour. Rates publish only at 10 or more measured briefings.

Stability

The page and JSON endpoint regenerate hourly. The URL stays fixed; the snapshot date tells you which version you are quoting.

Limitation: the archive is a published sample, not a random or market-wide sample. Providers can define source events differently, so compare rates only when their measurement context is compatible. A detected signal is decision support, not proof of causation, purchase intent, or commercial impact.

Category coverage

Where the published archive is concentrated.

Category counts describe what TrendsAGI published, not which categories are largest in the market. The same normalisation merges casing and punctuation variants into one row.
